I believe that starting your day with something filling but equally healthy and nutritious is an integral part of living a healthy life. It’s not always easy to find healthy meals that also taste good! I get it! But I have found some great recipes that actually have me craving them more than the processed or unhealthy version! You won’t want the unhealthy foods after you try some of these recipes…
This smoothie has been one of my go-tos over the years. I rarely get sick of it and love it during the Spring/Summer months! It’s sweet and full of nutrition that’ll keep you energized and feeling good throughout the day.
MORNING GREEN BEAUTY SMOOTHIE
• 1/2 cup of Almond Milk
• 1 Banana
• 1 Handful of Kale
• 1 Handful of Blueberries
• 1 Scoop of Protein Powder (I use a Plant Protein-Vanilla Bean but you can use any protein powder really 😉
• 1 Teaspoon of Maca Powder (helps energy, regulates stress and hormones, increases fertility and supports blood circulation)
• 4 Ice Cubes
• 1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds (keeps you full longer, balances blood sugar)
Directions: Blend all ingredients together in a blender.
